Yesterday at the spare of the moment we decided to take a short trip to the UEA, to check out the arts centre.It was an intriguing collection of sculptures, installations and paintings, because the collection was taken from Mr & Mrs Sainsbury's personal collections it included many old artefacts.
Every thing was very varied around the exhibit. Some of the pieces were tools and fighting weapons
people have used, or have been crafted. From very simplistic arrow head to extravagant staffs with semi precious stones placed in to the wood.
With a mix of historical artefacts and fine art pieces, i found the arts centre to be inspiring to look at the past for influence on my work. For the use of animals and shapes within the pieces that were created at these points in time.
