New York Times - T Magazine Logo

This cover is really effective with the use of optical illusions, the white and black lines put in different formations help to create the figures. Even the curves are hard to distinguish but that is what gives this cover a great element.

If i could adapt this i would make it in to a GIF animation, something that will loop over again to create more of an optical effect.
How this relates back to my work is through the colours they have chosen to make this front cover. Also i find the use of overlapping images and pattern reflective of my work.

The preset - Are you the one?

This video sparked my interest because of the use of travel using different t mediums through moving image. Like the alternative reality it creates for the viewer.

I would like my work to make an impression like this one has on me. With the right music or over dub, a video like this could be made to change anyones perception of what they are viewing.

Mosman Alder

Animated clip takes you on a hypnotic visual journey through a series of 3D vignettes that celebrate the physical similarities between outer and inner space. Inspired by the song's title, Moyes features bacteria, body tissue and natural landscapes in his microscopic universe.

I have used this as an example for my work because I like the use of layering and repetition of images. These are the two main ideas I would like to use in my work. To create an alternative reality for people to get stuck into whilst watching my movie. I want them to be captivated and intrigued, I think by using patterned images it will help to create an effect like this.

Bonobo - Cirrus

This Video i consider to be quite fascinating with the use of repeated images layered over each other. Its fun and captivating and co-insides with the song very well.
I also enjoyed the use of older images and moving images. It takes the viewer on an adventure in to the past.

Watching this video helped me to decide that i wanted my work to tell a story through image and sound. Entrap the viewer and enlighten there senses to my work.

Makey Makey

From watching the videos of this it showed me the importance of explaining how my product through moving image.
How to make it fun and appealing to the viewer and selling my motive through sound and image.
